Charlotte Juneteenth Festival

The Juneteenth Festival of the Carolinas was started to share the history of slavery and to commemorate its ending. The major intent of the festival is to examine the cultural heritage of slaves and their descendants through art, education, and research. Our goal is not to recreate the past but to cultivate the true spirit of freedom. Come join us as we connect with the community to celebrate history and to educate and empower our community with registering folks to vote and recruiting more volunteers to do the work you are already doing. We are stronger together! Can't wait to see you out there.
