Project Connect is a free event that provides essential services to people who are experiencing or are at-risk of homelessness at the Hargraves Center in Chapel Hill. We have two shifts, from 8:30am to 11:30 am and from 11:30am to 2:30 pm.
Parking is off-site, so volunteers should build in 10 minutes on either end of the shift for walking to the center. Additionally, volunteers are requested to arrive 10-15 minutes before their shift.
Laura will provide additional info after you RSVP. Please be aware that this event takes place in a noisy gymnasium and is not a good choice for volunteers with hearing problems.
