Wake Voter Advocates Meeting

If you want to learn more about changes to the law, how to become more effective with voter registration and make the most of your precious volunteer hours, join us on August 16th!

The meeting will be opened by Press Millen, plantiff's attorney in the state voting rights case who will give us his personal insights into the changes to the Voter ID law.

Then we will hear from the You Can Vote leadership team that ran a successful, volunteer-driven voter education coalition in Durham and Orange Counties in 2014. The team will share their results, methods, approaches and plans for expanded coalition work and outreach assistance.

We hope this gathering of leaders will help inform you about our work and be a starting point for our organizations working in coalition as we head into the critical stage of planning for a broad and deep impact in 2016 and beyond.
