Susan Yaggy, President
Prior to her retirement in 2011, Ms. Yaggy served as President/CEO of the NC Foundation for Advanced Health Programs (now the NC Foundation for Health Leadership and Innovation.) From 1994-2008, she served as founder and Chief of Duke University Medical Center’s Division of Community Health and founding Director of the NC Center for Child and Family Health. Ms. Yaggy previously served as Acting Director of the NH Division of Public Health Services, Deputy Director of the NH Division of Medical Services (Medicaid,) and Executive Director of Lamprey Health Care, NH’s first community health center. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.
Duncan Yaggy, Vice President
Prior to his retirement in 2011, Dr. Yaggy served as Associate Vice President for the Duke University Health System from 1980-2011 and Adjunct Professor of Public Policy. He previously served as Assistant Commissioner of Public Health and Assistant Secretary of Human Services for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He currently serves as President/CEO of Yaggy Corporation, a family business, and serves on the Board of H&H Technologies, Wilkesboro, NC, a medical textile manufacturing company.
Angie Santiago, Secretary
Ms. Santiago serves as the Senior Manager for Audit, Compliance, and Business Continuity Disaster Recovery for Allscripts, Raleigh, NC. She also serve as a faculty member at Durham Technical Community College in Emergency Planning, Hazard Analysis, and Business Continuity. Previously, she served as Information Security Officer and Director of IT for Primary Care at Duke University Health System. She was the President and owner of 3D Consulting Services, a consulting firm focused on privacy and security program development, from 2002-11. Previously, she was Director of Mahila Advisors, and Senior Systems Consultant for T.M. Floyd and Company, Columbia, SC. Ms. Santiago serves on the Board of NCHICA, a healthcare alliance to address policy issues related to healthcare technology; she is Board Chair of NC Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster; Board member of GR8MUSICROX, devoted to music and event management; member of Carolina Theatre Board of Trustees; and a Delegate to the National Puerto Rican Agenca.
Marty Belin, Treasurer
Prior to her retirement, Ms. Belin served for 20 years as a commercial loan officer at Self Help Credit Union. She served as Treasurer of the Durham Community Land Trustees, an affordable housing non-profit agency and El Centro Hispano in Durham. With an MBA and a Masters in Education, Ms. Belin has devoted herself to making finances serve the community.
Tania Walker, At Large
Ms. Walker, has a 15+ year professional career in Operations, Project & Distribution (Warehouse) Management while always making time to support her community via many non-profit organizations and volunteer work. Throughout her professional career path, she has remained deeply engaged in her community serving organizations that work with at-risk youth, sick & shut-in, homeless, substance abuse rehabilitation centers, political reform, and more. She has partnered with various organizations to educate, uplift & make change. Also, served as President of the Hospitality Ministry at her Church where she committed to serving and enhancing the lives of the members of the church and community mentally, physically, and spiritually.
