Garner 3rd of July Celebration

What better way to spend Independence Day weekend than registering voters?!  Come out to Lake Benson Park in Garner and educate and register voters at Garner's Annual Independence Day Celebration.  Each year thousands of citizens from Garner and Wake County attend this free, family-friendly event that features music, children's activities and fireworks.

Gates open at 5 p.m. There’s free parking at Lake Benson Park and Bryan Farm (1832 New Bethel Church Road), with free shuttles running from the farm from 5 p.m. until 11 p.m. Complete information including directions, concessions and street closures can be found at

Experienced captain, Erin Parish, will lead this voter registration drive.  This will be a crowded venue.  All volunteers will coordinate by phone where to meet the captain of this drive. Make sure the captain has your phone number!  Wear your orange shirt and come prepared to register voters--rain or shine!
