NOW is the time to speak up for voting rights!
Congress must act NOW to protect the right to vote and secure our democracy. We cannot wait for another election. Democracy delayed is democracy denied, and for the citizens of North Carolina, it’s gone on long enough. Use your voice. Speak out NOW using all of the platforms and networks at your disposal. Personally ask everyone you know to speak up too . With one voice, we must demand Congress act now to preserve and protect our right to vote .
National Historically Black Colleges and Universities Alumni Associations Foundation and You Can Vote announce partnership to bolster student voters at North Carolina HBCUs
It is with tremendous excitement that the National Historical Black Colleges & Universities Alumni Associations Foundation (NHBCUAAF) announces that it has established a strategic partnership with You Can Vote (YCV) to conduct Student Voter Education, Registration, Mobilization (VREM) and Get Out The Vote (GOTV) projects at select HBCUs in North Carolina.
Voter ID on trial: Why simple voting paths matter
The citizens of North Carolina need clarity, consistency, and a reprieve from burdensome changes to the laws and rules about voting. It is the obligation of our state to ensure those who have the right to vote can successfully cast their ballot and let all our voices be heard.
Rebellion at the U.S. Capitol
You Can Vote condemns this action, and the intimidation and efforts to suppress the vote that preceded it, in the strongest possible terms. These actions must be repudiated by anyone who wishes to serve the American people. We remain resolved to not only register, educate, and encourage participation of all eligible voters, but also to ensure votes are not suppressed through false information, intimidation, threats of violence, and mob rule.
