You Can Vote (YCV) and Fullsteam Brewery are excited to announce the launch of a special edition version of Fullsteam’s Paycheck Pilsner this fall! The limited edition “VoteCheck” version of Paycheck Pilsner features North Carolina voting information on part of the can label, including election dates and links to learn more about voting in NC.
Fullsteam Brewery’s Owner and Chief Executive Optimist, Sean Lilly Wilson, says, “Like many breweries, Fullsteam is passionate about its community, aiming to be a gathering place for social change, humanities, the arts, and pretty much anything that reflects Fullsteam’s mission to connect people to the land…and to one another. We’re excited that Fullsteam is making voter education as simple as buying a beer through this collaboration with You Can Vote!”
Beer drinkers can scan a QR code on their can to check their voter registration, learn about the offices and candidates on their ballot, and make their voting plan at www.youcanvote.org/votecheck. According to You Can Vote’s Founder and Executive Director, Kate Fellman, “We want to make voting as easy as possible for everyone this year! By adding this information to the can of Fullsteam’s Paycheck Pilsner, we’re making sure that beer drinkers state-wide have access to trustworthy, nonpartisan voter information.”
