ACTIVATE
Invite You Can Vote to your 11th and 12th grade classrooms today to deliver our ACTIVATE workshops!
ACTIVATE is an inquiry-based civic engagement learning experience designed for high school students to engage in active discussion and practical skill-building. Workshops directly integrate with existing NC curriculum standards and are informed by best practices in youth civic engagement.
Connecting with Civic Literacy and American History curriculum, YCV educators lead students through a series of activities and games that facilitate critical thinking through student-driven discussion on an essential question from each unit of curriculum. Workshops activate young people to seek out trusted information, make personal connections, take informed civic action, and get pre-registered to vote!
High School and Community Toolkit
You Can Vote’s High School and Community Toolkit invites all students, families, teachers, and school administrators to get in the civic engagement game! This toolkit is packed with key information, lesson plans, activities, printables, how-to guides, and resources to help everyone at your school get civically involved!

Voting Rights Champions
Our Voting Rights Champions program is a nonpartisan initiative grounded in the belief that informed participation is the foundation of a healthy democracy, and that trusted community organizations are essential to making that participation possible.
Voting Rights Champions are nonprofits, institutions, and community groups that step up to help people understand their rights, navigate the voting process, and engage confidently in civic life. Voting Rights Champions meet voters where they are, share accurate information, and create pathways to participation that are welcoming, accessible, and rooted in community trust.
