Student voting in North Carolina
Know your rights and make your voice heard!
Make a Plan! Choose where you want to vote.
If you live on or near campus during the election, it might be easiest to register and vote using your campus address.
To vote in your home state, you will need to request an absentee ballot from that state in advance of the election.
Find your voting schedule.
Vote at any Early Voting site in your county. If you need to register, VOTE EARLY! (see student voting rights handout to learn what you need to bring).
On Election Day, vote where you are registered. NO CHANGES can be made on Election Day!
Name not showing up? You may not be registered to vote! Contact your county Board of Elections or get registered at EARLY VOTING!
