Why Give?
When you give to You Can Vote, you’re supporting more than voter registration—you’re ensuring voting is a universal right. You help provide voter education and registration for those who have been historically targeted for voter suppression, keeping our democracy strong. When you support YCV, you give voice to all North Carolinians who face barriers at the ballot box: young people; people of color; seniors; people with disabilities; low-income people; and those currently or formerly incarcerated.
YCV is building the infrastructure to ensure that every North Carolina voter has the accurate, trustworthy information they need to successfully cast their ballot. We support newly eligible and low propensity voters to help them overcome barriers so they can grow the habit of voting, creating an electorate that includes all NC voices.
You Can Vote (YCV) is an organized and effective non-partisan campaign to increase voter registration and voter turnout for people facing barriers to full civic participation.
YCV is a homegrown, nonpartisan, volunteer-driven, collaborative 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Contributions to You Can Vote are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and help to ensure all North Carolina citizens are empowered to cast their ballot using YCV’s state-of-the-art education, registration, and mobilization best practices.
