In honor of You Can Vote's beloved Kathi Beratan we are proud to sponsor our first named fellowship in her honor. The Kathi Beratan Fellowship will be awarded annually to a returning YCV Civic Fellow who has, like Kathi, shown outstanding commitment to and demonstration of YCV's core values:

• Empowerment of voters and volunteers

• Achieving positive outcomes in voter registration and turnout

• Using data to drive decision-making and improvement, and demonstrating quality at every level

• Commitment to race equity and inclusion of all voices in our democracy

The Fellowship will support an NC college student to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on, invaluable experience in civic engagement.

All donations made to the Kathi Beratan Fellowship Fund will support an NC college student to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on, invaluable experience in civic engagement.
