Support You Can Vote as We Protect and Get Out the Vote This Fall!

We’re pitching our orange tents at 50 NC early voting locations Oct 20- Nov 5th, where our Voting Rights Ambassadors will protect and assist voters for all 17 days! We’ll achieve record turnout by empowering voters to share new eligibility and same-day registration requirements with their communities.

YCV was built to combat voter suppression. Since 2014, we’ve grown into a powerful multi-racial, multi-generational organization that serves 60 counties across NC. Our focus is on bringing new voices into our democracy, prioritizing young, BIPOC, low-wealth, and justice-involved individuals.

Nonpartisanship is our superpower. It allows us to work inside public schools, on 48 college campuses, inside county jails, and to partner with hundreds of community organizations. Trust built through partnerships and care for meeting voters where they are enables YCV to replace misconceptions and apathy with up-to-date facts on local ballots and voting rules. And it’s why voters registered by YCV turn out at 10% higher rates than the NC average.

Help Get Out The Vote by donating today! You Can Vote needs to raise $350,000 between now and October 20th to serve 50 campus and community sites in BIPOC communities.

Right now, we have the opportunity to empower 56,000 citizens to vote who have been released from incarceration. This new expansion of voting rights is still being litigated, so we must act fast. Please join us as we build an inclusive democracy that represents and reflects ALL the people of North Carolina!

You Can Vote is visiting cities across NC to Fuel the Vote this fall! Join us in at a brewery (or cidery) near you for an evening of brews, small bites, and conversation as we gear up for the midterm election! Meet YCV staff and supporters and learn how you can get involved to help us turn out voters at the polls in record numbers this fall. Attendance is free, although donations are welcome! Please sign up to let us know you’re coming.
